Washtenaw Conservation District will host a MAEAP Field Day at Brines Farm (6384 Walsh Rd., Whitmore Lake, MI 48189) . Event speaker, Shannon Brines, is a lecturer at the Sustainable Food Syst ems Initiative at the University of Michigan, and he will discuss and demon strate several regenerative agriculture techniques. He will discuss the ben efits of keyline water management to conserve water and build topsoil. John Cox, another guest speaker, will discuss the potential for grazing cattle between alleys as well as the benefits that cattle and other grazers can ha ve on pasture health.
