Kalkaska Conservation District will host a weeknight hike on Wednesday, January 11th at 6pm. Everyone will meet at Smith Lake Road NW, 1 mile north of Island Lake Road, at the intersection of the TC to K trail. Look for the "Conservation District Event" signs and the blue blazes. They will hike/snowshoe/xc ski 1.75 miles east to Smith Lake depending on trail conditions. This is a snow or shine event unless there is a "Winter Weather Advisory" in effect.
